In Photo 5, one side of the model's face is lit. The bright light is coming from a light panel on his right side. The light highlights the contour of the model's face.A shadow is cast over the center of Corey's face, and is lightly illuminated by a soft light on the other side of his face.
Corey is sitting on a stool, turning his head to the side. The photo is a headshotThe photo is taken horizontally. I shot the photo from head level, at a slight angle. I was about 3 feet from the subject. The shadowed, dark lighting of the photo communicates that the model is in deep thought. The portrait portrays the models thoughts of the past, present and/ or future. The bright lighting and cheery smile shown by the model in photo 3 differs from photo 5. The model appears hopeful for what is to come, as if it is a spring day. To communicate this different feeling, I adjusted the lighting to evenly illuminate the models face. The presence of the flower radiates spring vibes. This differs from the shadows of photo 5.

Mr. Obama is in front of an industrial-looking building. The photo is taken from waist level, an arms length from the model's face. The lighting, position, and expression of the model communicate satisfaction with our great nation. The picture is similar to Uncle Sam's "I want you" poster.
